S/2070 Antique 19th Century Ivory Letter Knife
A fine quality 19th century ivory letter knife, with the unusual feature of having a small folding knife the opposite end for making quills for pens. It is inscribed on the metal shoulder I G O on one side and Gill and Sons on the other. Gill and Sons is recorded as a 19th century blade manufacturer working in Sheffield.
