S/6016 Antique Treen 19th Century Glass Sand Timer in a Fruitwood Case

A good quality glass sand timer within a fruitwood case of traditional form (2 minutes 50 seconds timing), having a circular ring turned top that conforms with the base. The whole has a rich honey colour and retains a patination.
