S/6036 Antique Treen Early 19th Century Apple Wood Fleam Mallet

A good quality and well used veterinary apple wood fleam mallet, having a turned handle with a rounded finial. The hammer end is of a barrel design with concentric ring turnings. The whole has a lovely honey colour with a good patination.
