S/6040 Antique Treen 19th Century Fruitwood Storage Barrel

An attractive and well turned fruitwood barrel with a fitted lid, having an exterior with ring turned reeded decoration to the top and base and a plain centre. The whole has a pleasing pale colour and patination.
